About the Role:

Sustainable Finance Ireland seek to appoint a Communications Executive on a fixed term, full time basis. 

Reporting to the Sustainable Finance Ireland Head of Marketing the Communications Executive will help deliver the Sustainable Finance Ireland Marketing and Communications Plans for 2022 and 2023.

The Communications Executive will work closely with the Head of Marketing  in developing and maintain relations with key stakeholders and members.  

Below are some of the key duties and responsibilities of the role:

Work with Sustainable Finance Ireland to support their initiatives, events, and day to day communications to a multitude of stakeholder groups including the financial community, Government, public and international audiences.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic communication professional to develop and deliver communication programs in support of Sustainable Finance Ireland’s key strategy deliverables, writing, editing, and packaging key messages to a wide range of stakeholder audiences, leveraging the latest digital techniques.

You will be responsible for creating relevant stories to support Sustainable Finance Ireland’s remit in promoting Ireland as a Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Finance; ensuring consistent & engaging voice and message across all communications.

  • Manage, deliver, and measure communication campaigns, developing a calendar of activity to support business objectives and measuring the impact of communications on stakeholders i.e., newsletters, social media messaging, email marketing, direct mail and more.
  • Create high quality communications content and campaigns and produce written materials
  • Plan and execute key stakeholder communications events
  • Provide support in the management of external agencies and PR partner to support media relations in Ireland. Proven success in working with third party agencies and to tight budgets and deadlines
  • Manage multiple websites and social media channels ensuring content is up-to-date
Skills and Competencies:
  • Experienced communications professional
  • Strong social media experience including paid advertising on popular platforms.
  • Strong editorial, content creation and digital skills – a good eye for a story and a strong writer
  • Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail, a self-starter – able to work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently
  • A good team-player who develops strong working relationships with people at all levels within an organisation and can influence in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and executing communications plans that utilise a wide variety of media, including various digital platforms/channels
  • Experience of setting and delivering against KPIs for communications and demonstrating personal and collective impact
  • Strong organisational skills including database management, familiarity with a variety of cloud-based work tools.
  • Confidence to manage up when needed and deal with a multitude of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work effectively remotely
  • Be a proactive self-starter

Desirable skills

  • Experience in the financial sector
  • PR experience

  • Desirable – Sustainability or Sustainable Finance

Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 per annum DOE
Full time, fixed term contract
Duration: 24 months

About the Role: Sustainable Finance Skillnet has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Support person to join a team on a fixed term, part-time basis.

As this is a diverse role, the candidate will need to have strong multi-tasking, organisational and prioritisation skills, and 3+ years’ previous experience working in an office environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administration support
  2. Organise and attend meetings as required
  3. To ensure the financial rules of the company are followed
  4. Take minutes at meetings and prepare for circulation following meetings.
  5. To manage the day-to-day income and expenditure.
  6. Maintain and update network training database.
  7. Data entry
  8. Accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciliation, status reporting and credit control.
  9. To support the Financial Administrator

 Key Competencies & Strengths

  1. Proficient in MS Office Suite
  2. Strong written and oral communication skills
  3. Excellent organisational, planning and coordination skills
  4. Excellent attention to detail
  5. Proven ability to work supportively and efficiently within and across the team and build good working relationships
  6. Be a proactive self-starter with an ability to work effectively remotely

Salary: €17,000 per annum DOE
Part time, fixed term contract
Duration: 12 months

Role Description: Sustainable Finance Ireland has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Administrator to join our growing team and manage our day-to-day accounting procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Processing of sales invoices for the company.
  2. Prepare monthly accounting reconciliations.
  3. To ensure the financial rules of the company are followed.
  4. To prepare accounts for payments received and purchases made by the organisation.
  5. To manage the day-to-day income and expenditure.
  6. Preparing of financial reports summarising and estimating the organisation’s financial position such as income statements, balance sheets and analyses of future earnings and income.
  7. Ensure existing financial controls within the organisation represent continuous best practice.
  8. To draw up the organisation’s monthly budgets based on the necessities of the business.
  9. Lead engagement with external party accountants/auditors in support of the Annual Company report development.
  10. Lead engagement with external party accountants/auditors in support of the Annual Grant reports.

 Key Competencies & Strengths

  1. Proficient in MS Office Suite
  2. Previous Financial/Accounts experience – Essential
